Candidates are required to have their Marksheets and other relevant documents by their side before starting to fill the Online Application form. This will help them while making entries in the field and also avoid chances of errors.

To apply online, click on Apply Online (New Application) link, This will open the form in a new window. In the Online Application form, all * fields are mandatory. Please confirm, you have entered correct data before click on Next button.

Candidates are required to be careful to make correct entries in the fields. Also the email ID provided should be a current valid email ID. Institute may send all communication with regard to the student training program like referee letters, interview call letters, selection letter for student training program etc. through this registered e-mail ID.

Once the application form is complete in all respects, it may be submitted by clicking on the Submit button in the last page. At this stage a copy of the application with all details as you entered will be shown, you may take a printout at this stage.

You should note down your "Application Id" which is now displayed on the screen. This will be required for all future correspondence with GMRT regarding this application. This ID will also help you to reprint the application if you so desire at a later stage.

You are required to mention Application ID :"SP......" on the envelope. The signed application form alongwith the two sealed envelopes, containing the referee letters with entries from referees are to be send to the above address.

In case if you haven't received an auto response mail with details of your application, you can download REFEREE Letter click on "DOWNLOAD FORM FOR REFEREE" .

Instructions regarding Referee letters : Candidates are required to take two hardcopies of the referee letter and put them in separate unsealed envelopes . They are required to handover the envelopes to the referee,the referees are required to fill up the letter and return the sealed envelope to the candidate.Kindly mention the name of candidate, the referee name and application ID on the envelope. (Under no circumstances, the filled referee form is to be returned to the candidate in a open condition or unsealed envelope.)

The application process includes online application, and sending a signed copy alongwith referee letters as mentioned above. The candidates are required to confirm that this process is complete and GMRT centre is not responsible for any postal delay or loss of application while in transit.
